Work starting on brand new canal side development – Foxhills

We’re starting work soon on Clitheroe Road, Brierfield, as the site is prepared for the first phase of a brand new housing development called Foxhills.

Foxhills will be an attractive canal side development of 36 Barnfield Homes including two and three bedroom bungalows and three bedroom semi- detached homes.

The project is being developed by PEARL2, the pioneering joint venture company between Barnfield Construction and Pendle Council.

The site neighbours other PEARL projects including Northlight at Brierfield Mill, twelve 4 bedroom homes on Spinners View and 17 homes in the stunning mill conversion and new build development, Quaker Heights.

Gareth Smith, Project Manager at Barnfield Construction explained: “This new development will be in a great position between town and country, next to the Leeds and Liverpool Canal with excellent commuting links only minutes away.

“Being based in Pendle, we’re passionate about our joint schemes and investing in our area.

“This development keeps up the momentum started through the new PEARL homes on Spinners View and at Quaker Heights to totally transform this area,” he added.

Councillor Mohammed Iqbal, Leader of Pendle Council who leads on economic development said: “We’re delighted that work is getting underway to help us offer a wider housing choice in Pendle in an area PEARL is transforming.

“When the development is finished it will provide a range of modern homes which will be great to live in, close to PEARL’s flagship project of Northlight at Brierfield Mill.

The Help to Buy scheme  is available on this development.
